The Institute is continually exploring additional issues relating to women that are in particular need of further research. As areas for research are identified and as funds will allow, efforts are initiated to encourage researchers with appropriate expertise to begin blocking out possible projects in the focus areas. By initiating faculty discussion and collaboration in critical areas, the Institute is laying a foundation for what may become future areas of programmatic research.
